CASA of Franklin County has developed a program to address domestic violence.  Staff Attorney Shaunna Hennebert leads the efforts as the office expert in this field.  This initiative is not designed to divert attention from child abuse issues, but rather to support them.  Some studies suggest there is a correlation between spousal abuse and child abuse.  Activities in CASA's domestic violence program include volunteer in-services, a resource library, and special staff trainings.  We invite you to come into the CASA Office during business hours to browse the Domestic Violence library.  If you have any questions about this initiative, contact Shaunna at 614-462-7450.  We invite volunteers to share with us how the domestic violence program has impacted their CASA cases.
