Directions For Youth's mission is to empower young people to overcome significant challenges and make sound choices, creating opportunities for a promising future.

Programs provide individual, group and family counseling and support services in a young person¹s home, school and neighborhood, breaking down the barriers to services. Young people are referred by Franklin County Children Services, Franklin County Juvenile Court, schools, parents, retail stores and businesses, concerned members of the community and by themselves. All programs have specific objectives and outcomes are monitored and evaluated on a regular basis to be sure they are meeting the needs of young people and their families.

Crisis intervention and counseling services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
