The Neighborhood House, Inc. exists to assist families, single adults, and kids in their efforts to become self-sufficient, helping to improve and strengthen our communities.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD HOUSE INC. has a rich 90 year history of service to residents of the Near Eastside Community. Our current programs include childcare services that encompass infant to toddler, preschool and grade school children. Youth services, food pantry services, outpatient chemical dependency counseling, employment readiness leading to actual jobs, a micro-enterprise program, and housing services.

SINCE 1909, our mission has been to help children, families, and adults to become self-sufficient and give them the hope to strive for a brighter future.
